A very generous group of former Fillmore volunteer firemen donated a 1927 American LaFrance fire engine to the Fillmore Historical Museum.    In the 1980s these men had lovingly restored the vehicle which had been used by the city between 1929 and 1951.   Now the museum is in the process of planning and finding the funds to build a fire house to protect and display this fire engine.
